Deshalb ist es wichtig, hierfür schon frühzeitig die entsprechenden Grundlagen zu legen. In diesem Atelier werden wir uns sowohl mit der gesprochenen als auch mit der geschriebenen Sprache beschäftigen (Texte verfassen, Kurzvorträge halten, Rechtschreibung üben, etc.).

This is why it is fairly beneficial to take some time to, literally, try your hand at it.
We are going to have a look at some of the different text types that are going to be more and more relevant the further you get ahead in your school career – and give them a whirl.
But it won´t be just summaries and reports. There is also room for picture stories, letters and the like.

Design a presentation to highlight its unique features, from famous attractions to local traditions. Share your discoveries and inspire others to explore the US!

On November 5th 2024, the USA will elect its 47th president.
Even though the role of the USA on the political stage has shifted in recent years due to political, economic and cultural reasons, the country in North America is still a strong and influential force. Furthermore, due to globalization it does concern us who runs the third largest country of the world.
Therefore, we are going to take a closer look at the election process that is happening in the USA at this very moment: How do they vote? For whom can they vote? What are the relevant topics in this campaign? Etc. To find out more about these and similar questions, we are going to learn about the procedures of how the president of the USA is elected, read and compare newspaper articles, take a look at current debates, candidates´ profiles and more to gather background information.
